durham_rambler has just fielded a cold call from someone whose name he did not catch. "This doesn't require you to do anything," they said. He said "OK," and hung up.

We're TPS registered and ex-directory which helps a lot!

Ours is technically a business account, which gets us better treatment when there's a fault, but has its downside: TPS works for domestic lines. Quite often the cold calls are domestic in nature, but there doesn't seem much you can do about that.

Yeah, there are one or two companies that egregiously ignore the rules and it's time the telecoms outfits brought them down!
